The Fine Grind Downtown to Close

August, 2010–The Fine Grind Coffee Bar has taken the old adage Less is More to heart: The Fine Grind Downtown location will be closing its doors permanently at 4pm on Saturday, August 28, 2010. In order to better serve their valued and loyal customers, The Fine Grind will be consolidating all of their operations to their other location at 101 Newark-Pompton Turnpike (Route 23) in Little Falls.

The Fine Grind will continue to host a bevy of excellent events, including their free seminar series Penny University featuring local specialists leading captivating discussions, Fine Tuned live music as well as book signings with the latest and edgiest authors. The euphonious Open Mic, previously held on Thursday evenings at the downtown location, will now be held on Sunday evenings from 7pm to 9:30pm, taking advantage of the new and expanded Sunday hours (8am to 10pm).

Be sure to look for delicious changes to their menu and new specials.

The Fine Grind Downtown will be liquidating all of the used books on the shelves until August 28. All books are now being sold for the low, low price of $1, which, as an ongoing fundraiser, will be donated to the American Cancer Society. So come and pick up some end of the summer reading, grab a delicious latte and say farewell to this lovely location.
